Implementation Specialist

We’re seeking an Implementation Specialist to provide the resources for the implementation of Qu, including but not limited to the new POS system, add-on installations, software and hardware installation, third-party integration, networking, customer training, and live support.


  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • Ability to analyze and understand client’s information and processes to implement proper software and hardware requirements.
  • Analyze and recommend various configurations to meet client’s needs regarding menu items, 3rd party delivery and hospitality enterprise solutions during implementation.
  • Perform system staging and configuration for new/replacement QU systems including menus, employees, store settings and other specific needs for each location.
  • Travel to new or existing locations to install, upgrade and support Qu system solutions.
  • Train restaurant managers and staff on POS applications and system functionality
  • Provide onsite and remote support coverage on the system “lives” to ensure a smooth transition to the Qu solution and minimize post-installation support requirements.
  • Resolve all customer complaints and disputes to ensure maximum customer satisfaction during implementation and deployment of the solution.
  • Identify and resolve all product and customer technical problems by properly assessing and promptly implementing solutions utilizing the company and/or outside resources.
  • Performs any work-related duties or special projects as assigned by management.
  • Provides regular status reports to management.
  • Contribute to process enhancements/changes/developments.


  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate via e-mail, face to face, and over the phone.
  • Detail-oriented, organized with a desire to make a major impact on a rapidly changing industry.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience working in or with restaurants.
  • Knowledge of point of sales system design, installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance.
  • Must be proficient at troubleshooting & analyzing information thoroughly.
  • Knowledge of POS, Windows-based OS, Networking, and windows applications


  • Relevant experience in the Information Technology field.
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of the position including, standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting between 10-40lbs.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in POS or related industry.
  • Possess a proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and provide solutions.
  • Ability to maintain composure under stress or with emotional clients.
  • Must be proficient at troubleshooting & analyzing information thoroughly.
  • Willing to travel and work necessary hours to meet the customers’ needs.
