DevOps and Operational Support

Our technology team is a small (but growing) group of talented and experienced engineers moving from a startup to a leading enterprise software company.  We are in the process of building foundational core technology making key architectural decisions and implementing agile development processes including (CI/CD) for our future expansion.

Responsibilities:

As a QA and Operations Support Specialist  you  will play a key operational role at the intersection between Engineering and Customer Experience (CXP) teams:

  • Engineering => CXP
    • Quality Assurance of Engineering deliverables that go to CXP
    • Assisting CXP setup, install software deliveries, documentation of features
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME)/coordinator for feature questions from CXP
  • CXP => Engineering
    • Triage of reported issues that come from CXP and go to Engineering
    • Work confidently and carefully across all operating domains for our product
    • Assisting Engineering reproduce items from CXP
  • Become familiar with the configuration of the product from the CXP perspective AND the technical implementation from the Engineering perspective – so as to speak both “languages”.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years software testing experience
  • Familiar testing UWP/Windows Store/Windows/WPF and Web API applications
  • Comfortable setting up Windows Hardware
  • Basic SQL
  • Basic Scripting
  • Problem Solving and Triage experience
  • Excellent communication skills
